Kentucky High School Volleyball - Metcalfe County nudged by Franklin-Simpson

The Metcalfe County Hornets volleyball team (Edmonton, KY), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY)

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Logan County (Russellville, KY). The Cougars enter the District 13 challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Logan County nipped Russellville (Russellville, KY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 27. Metcalfe County will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY).
