The Wethersfield Flying Geese topped the visiting Havana Ducks volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Flying Geese now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bureau Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, August 27. Wethersfield will confront a Storm team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Annawan (Annawan, IL). The Storm record now stands at 0-2.
The Ducks (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Mercer County (Aledo, IL). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Mercer County dropped by Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
