In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Johnson City Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Marble Falls Mustangs.
The Eagles (19-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 7-15 record. In their last battle, Lago Vista was beaten by C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
With the loss, Marble Falls drops to 3-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Jarrell (Jarrell, TX) to battle the Cougars in a 4A Region III District 24 contest on Saturday, August 27. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 7-9. Jarrell lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Blanco (Blanco, TX)
