The Laconia Spartans held off the visiting Pacelli Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amherst for a non-league test on Saturday, August 27. Laconia will confront a Falcons team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cambria-Friesland (Cambria, WI). The Falcons record now stands at 2-2.
The Cardinals (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Manitowoc Lutheran (Manitowoc, WI). The Lancers enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Manitowoc Lutheran was nudged by Cedar Grove-Belgium (Cedar Grove, WI), 2-0, in a league test.
