In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Lumpkin County Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Union County Panthers.

The Indians (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, South Effingham lost by Effingham County (Springfield, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Creekview Grizzlies (Canton, GA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 27. Union County will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Grizzlies come into the battle with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Allatoona (Acworth, GA).
