The Metamora Redbirds volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Normal Community Ironmen to 0 in the Redbirds non-league victory on Saturday.
The Redbirds now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marist for a non-league game on Monday, August 29. Metamora will meet a RedHawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Lake Central (St. John, IN). The RedHawks record now stands at 3-2.
The Ironmen (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Lincoln-Way West dropped by St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
