Texas High School Volleyball - Mt. Pleasant tips Mount Vernon

Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Mount Vernon Tigers (Mount Vernon, TX), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Paris Wildcats (Paris, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 6-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Chisum (Paris, TX).

With the loss, Mount Vernon drops to 12-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Hooks (Hooks, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 30.
