Illinois High School Volleyball - Normal Community can't hold off Plainfield North

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Plainfield North Tigers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Normal Community Ironmen.
The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Wheaton-Warrenville South was edged by Lake Central (St. John, IN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Ironmen encounter the Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 27. Normal Community will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL).
