Illinois High School Volleyball - Tri-Point Pontiac

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Pontiac Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Tri-Point Chargers.

The Indians (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Woodland (Streator, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Woodland defeated Putnam County (Granville, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Chargers encounter the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 27. Tri-Point will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over St. Bede (Peru, IL).
