Texas High School Volleyball - Shepherd can't hold off Silsbee

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Silsbee Tigers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Shepherd Pirates.
The Tigers (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX). The Timberwolves come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Beaumont United was edged by Cleveland (Cleveland, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Pirates encounter the Splendora Wildcats (Splendora, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 30. Shepherd will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 7-11 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Kountze (Kountze, TX).
