South Dakota High School Volleyball - Yankton tips South Sioux City

Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting South Sioux City Cardinals (South Sioux City, NE), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Bucks/Gazelles clash with the Norfolk Panthers (Norfolk, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 27. Yankton will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE).

With the loss, South Sioux City drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Vermillion (Vermillion, SD) to clash with the Tanagers in a non-league match on Thursday, September 1. The Tanagers come into the match with a record of 1-4.
