In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Bluffton Pirates soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Spencerville Bearcats.

The Pirates (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Celina (Celina, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Celina was overwhelmed by Memorial (St. Marys, OH), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bearcats play the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds (Lima, OH) in a Freelance outing, on Thursday, August 29. Spencerville will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the outing with a 0-3 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Allen East (Harrod, OH).
