New Mexico High School Soccer - Cottonwood Classical Prep knocks off Highland

Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), saw Cottonwood Classical Prep's soccer squad triumph over Highland by a count of 6-1.

The Coyotes (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Del Norte was overwhelmed by Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Hornets battle the Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 30. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM).
