In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Cibola Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the St. Pius X Sartans.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Atrisco Heritage Academy was beaten by Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Sartans meet the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. St. Pius X will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
