Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) and the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), observed LaGrange's volleyball team top Upson-Lee by a count of 2-0.

The Grangers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Callaway was knocked off by Heard County (Franklin, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Knights battle the Houston County Bears (Warner Robins, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 27. Upson-Lee will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA).
