In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Legacy Academy Silverbacks volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Sandia Prep Sundevils.

The Silverbacks (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Roy Municipal School (Roy, NM). The Longhorns enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Sundevils meet the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 28. Sandia Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Horsemen enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM).
