The Briggsdale Falcons volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Akron Rams to 1 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Genoa-Hugo/Karval for a non-league outing on Friday, August 30. Briggsdale will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Eads (Eads, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Akron drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Prairie (New Raymer, CO) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 3. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 1-0.
