In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Atkins Red Devils volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the St. Joseph Bulldogs.
The Red Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Russellville (Russellville, AR). The Cyclones come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Russellville lost by Paris (Paris, AR), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Heber Springs Panthers (Heber Springs, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Riverview (Searcy, AR).
