With the win, Gaylord advances its record to 8-1 on the season. The Blue Devils host Petoskey (Petoskey, MI) to face the Northmen in a Big North test on Wednesday, September 4. The Northmen go into the test with a record of 2-1.

The Chiefs now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grayling for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Cheboygan will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Gaylord (Gaylord, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
