Virginia High School Volleyball - James Monroe over Orange County

August 27, 2024: Fredericksburg, VA 22401

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host James Monroe Yellow Jackets volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Orange County Fighting Hornets.

The Yellow Jackets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Goochland beat Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Hornets meet the Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Orange County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).
