Kenedy Lions (Kenedy, TX) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Odem Owls (Odem, TX), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Kenedy advances its record to 1-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Agua Dulce (Agua Dulce, TX) to face the Longhorns in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Longhorns go into the test with a record of 1-1.

The Owls now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taft for a 3A Region IV District 29 test on Tuesday, September 3. Odem will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Refugio (Refugio, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-2.
