In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host St. Joseph Knights volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Laguna Blanca Owls.

The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against El Diamante (Visalia, CA). The Miners come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, El Diamante beat Sierra (Tollhouse, CA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Owls meet the Orcutt Academy Spartans (Orcutt, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Laguna Blanca will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Atascadero (Atascadero, CA).
