In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Roncalli Cavaliers.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD). The Warbirds enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Wolsey-Wessington beat Arlington (Arlington, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cavaliers meet the Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Roncalli will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Pheasants enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Florence/Henry (Florence, SD).
