Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host San Augustine Wolves (San Augustine, TX), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Overton improves its record to 5-8 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Covington (Covington, TX) to face the Owls in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Owls go into the test with a record of 5-4. Covington lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Bluff Dale (Bluff Dale, TX)

The Wolves now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rusk for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. San Augustine will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-5.
