The Cardinals (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Sharks enter the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Palacios notched a victory over Wharton (Wharton, TX), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Luling Eagles (Luling, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 3. Yorktown will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Stacey (San Antonio, TX).
