In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the James Island Trojans.

The Landsharks (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop England (Charleston, SC). The Battling Bishops come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Bishop England lost by Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC) in a AAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Monday, September 15. James Island will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
