The Steamboat Springs Sailors flag football team (Steamboat Springs, CO), was tipped 13-6 in Wednesday's league bout with the visiting Evergreen Cougars (Evergreen, CO)

With the win, Evergreen advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars host Standley Lake (Westminster, CO) to encounter the Gators in a 4A Jeffco bout on Friday, August 29. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Coming up next, the Sailors confront the Northglenn Norsemen (Northglenn, CO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 30. Steamboat Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
