Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH) and the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), saw West Branch's soccer squad prevail over Boardman by a score of 4-0.
The Warriors (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, John F. Kennedy Catholic by Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Spartans confront the McKinley Red Dragons (Niles, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 2. Boardman will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Red Dragons come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Poland Seminary (Poland, OH).
