Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Coldwater Cardinals (Coldwater, MI), 48-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Sturgis improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
