In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Nacogdoches Dragons football team scored a nice 14-0 win over the Palestine Wildcats.
In their next game, the Dragons play the Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Nacogdoches will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jasper (Jasper, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Jasper was dropped by Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX), 25-7, in a non-league challenge.
