Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI) followers went home pleased Wednesday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Norrix Knights (Kalamazoo, MI), 8-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Northwest advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mounties travel to Adrian (Adrian, MI) to play the Maples in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. The Maples go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Knights now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Ottawa Hills for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Norrix will confront a Bengals squad coming off a 50-0 non-league win over Holland (Holland, MI). The Bengals record now stands at 1-0.
