With the win, Taft improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Toreadors host Sylmar (Sylmar, CA) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 2-1. Sylmar won 2-0 in their recent league test against Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA)

The Coyotes now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valencia for a test on Wednesday, September 10.
