Indiana High School Volleyball - Connersville tips Shelbyville

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN) and the visiting Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN), saw Connersville's volleyball squad nudge Shelbyville by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Connersville improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Batesville (Batesville, IN) to encounter the Bulldogs in a battle on Saturday, August 30. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Batesville won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against East Central (St. Leon, IN)

The Golden Bears now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Speedway for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 28.
