Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Berry moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Hawks in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. The Hawks enter the outing with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Greenwave confront the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Ashbrook will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Pumas enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC).
