North Carolina High School Soccer - Middle Creek nudges Lee County

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Lee County Yellow Jackets.
The Mustangs (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals go into the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Fuquay - Varina got by Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Lee County moves to 2-3 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Apex Friendship (Apex, NC) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 2. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 1-3. Apex Friendship won 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC)
