Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Pisgah moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Erwin (Asheville, NC) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 5-0. Erwin won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Brevard (Brevard, NC)

The Bulldogs now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Tri-County for a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A test on Monday, September 1. Murphy will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Pisgah (Canton, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-1.
