Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Slippery Rock knocks off Wilmington

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Slippery Rock Rockets soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 win over the Wilmington Greyhounds.
The Rockets (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Seneca (Erie, PA). The Bobcats come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Seneca by Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA), 2-1, in a league test.
The Greyhounds now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Neshannock for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Wilmington will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-1.
