The Walker Wolverines softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting McEachern Indians to 7 in the Wolverines non-league win on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Francis for a 1A D-I Region 5 battle on Thursday, August 28. Walker will confront a Knights team coming off a 25-15 league loss to King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, McEachern moves to 3-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA) to confront the WolfPack in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The WolfPack come into the battle with a record of 4-3. Whitefield Academy lost 14-6 in their recent league battle against Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA)
