Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) and the host Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL), observed Hampshire's volleyball team top Antioch by a tally of 2-0.

The Whip-Purs (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL). The Tigers go into the Fox Valley test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Crystal Lake Central was defeated by Huntley (Huntley, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

The Sequoits now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carmel for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Antioch will encounter a Corsairs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Wauconda (Wauconda, IL). The Corsairs record now stands at 1-0.
