Florida High School Volleyball - Coral Shores over Mater Bay Academy

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Coral Shores Hurricanes (Tavernier, FL) and the visiting Mater Bay Academy Rays (Cutler Bay, FL), observed Coral Shores's volleyball team top Mater Bay Academy by a count of 3-0.

The Hurricanes (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Key West (Key West, FL). The Conchs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Key West lost by Spanish River (Boca Raton, FL), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rays play the Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes (Homestead, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. Mater Bay Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Somerset College Prepartory Academy South (Miami, FL).
