Michigan High School Volleyball - DeWitt tips Mt. Pleasant

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI) and the visiting Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI), observed DeWitt's volleyball team hold off Mt. Pleasant by a count of 2-1.

With the win, DeWitt improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Panthers host Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI) to encounter the Comets in a Capital Area - Blue battle on Wednesday, September 3. The Comets go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Grand Ledge won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI)

The Oilers now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bay City Western for a Saginaw Valley battle on Tuesday, September 9. Mt. Pleasant will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Garber (Essexville, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.
