In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Fighting Scots battle the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 28. Scotland will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Bucks enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC).

The Golden Tornadoes (1-6) will now prepare for their match against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, St. Pauls fell by New Hanover (Wilmington, NC), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
