Illinois High School Volleyball - Grant Community can't hold off Waukegan

August 27, 2025: Waukegan, IL 60085

In Wednesday's non-league match, the Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), by a final score of 2-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 28. Waukegan will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Royals enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL).

The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Corsairs come into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Carmel nipped Wauconda (Wauconda, IL), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
