In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) volleyball team knocked off the host Gull Lake Blue Devils (Richland, MI), by a margin of 2-0.

The Oilers now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Fenton for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 27. Mt. Pleasant will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
