With the win, Red Rock improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Scorpions host BASIS Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ) to encounter the Yetis in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Yetis go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mogollon for a 1A - Central battle on Thursday, August 28.
