The McBain Ramblers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Onekama Portagers to 1 in the Ramblers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Ramblers now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kingsley for a non-league match on Friday, August 29. McBain will confront a Stags squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Onekama (Onekama, MI). The Stags record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Onekama drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Portagers travel to Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI) to clash with the Huskies in a Northwest bout on Thursday, September 11. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 0-7.
