The Portage Central Mustangs topped the visiting St. Johns Redwings volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Byron Center for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. Portage Central will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Lowell (Lowell, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, St. Johns drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Redwings travel to Coldwater (Coldwater, MI) to play the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 27. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 4-2. Coldwater lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Milford (Highland, MI)
