The Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO) football defeated the visiting Carnahan (St. Louis, MO), 13-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Fighting Irish face the Atchison Redmen (Atchison, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 3. Lafayette will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
The (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Dupo (Dupo, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Dupo defeated Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine (Oblong, IL), 30-22, in a non-league bout.
