In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Colony Knights football squad scored a close 34-31 victory over the South Anchorage Wolverines.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 2. Colony will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 42-0 non-league win over West Valley (Fairbanks, AK).
The Wolverines (0-2) will now prepare for their match against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Eagles enter the Cook Inlet match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, West Anchorage held off Juneau-Douglas/Thunder Mountain (Juneau, AK), 49-23, in a league match.
