The Hereford Whitefaces volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Monterey Plainsmen to 0 in the Whitefaces non-league victory on Saturday.

The Whitefaces now possess a 25-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cooper for a non-league game on Saturday, August 28. Hereford will meet a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eastlake (El Paso, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 17-6.

The Plainsmen (9-9) will now prepare for their game against Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A Region I District 4 game with a 5-10 record. In their last game, Coronado was dropped by Pampa (Pampa, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
